All good humored kidding aside, I hope the surgery goes well, the recovery is quick and, when it's all over, you are pain free. My thoughts and prayers will be with you.
It's so wonderful that you can find so many positives in what probably won't be much fun for you -- you're truly living the Lord's command to be thankful in all things. I hope everything goes well with your surgery and that your recovery is a speedy one! :)

Starbuck's...my vice is their gingerbread lattes, but I know what you mean: they're wonderful!! And they're only around once a year. Good timing, then, that your recovery period coincides! (Also, you won't miss spending lovely days outdoors - it will be too dang cold!!!)

I love your TT list! During the busiest time of the year, you get to kick back, take drugs, have a maid clean your home, your family wait on you hand and foot (especially the foot part) and avoid the ackward get-togethers! Truly, have a speedy recovery!

A $15K pedicure WITH Vicodan? Count me in! Man, I don't know what I'd do if I needed surgery right now. My left knee may need it, actually. I may have to wait until summer, though, so hubby can be around to help with the kiddos.

Ah, Vicodan. Vicodan was my best friend when I had my wisdom teeth out (and soon after when I got dry-socket).
