What an amazingly wonderful book! I love the verse and the pictures are gorgeous!
Oh, and btw, I knew the answers to 1 and 3...

CJ, it is just the perfect read for Thanksgiving whether you're a child or not. I love picture books, for the information but especially the illustrations.
I never doubted for a minute that you knew the answers to 1 and 3. ;)
I love the pictures you post on your blog. My favorite picture in the book was the two page spread where they discover America. I just loved the calm after the storm and the way the sea and sky meshed together in that picture.
Thanks for the lovely posts! You're making the tour worthwhile.
Sally, thanks for sponsoring it! It must be a huge job, and I really appreciate you bringing authors and their special works to our attention. I'm glad you like the posts I've put up.
gee that is sweet of you,
i will get right on it!
and I'll get the cards out to you and Noel right away! Thanks for playing. (You must've had a great grade school teacher. ;)
What lovely illustrations! What kind of blog tour is this for?
This is for The Children's Book Blog Tour at KidsBookBuzz.com. Sally, the host, arranges for us to review a children's book every monoth or so. There's also an opportunity to interview the author. So far, I've encountered really exciting books for kids. You can click on the link in my sidebar (it's a white box, with kids reading in it) to get more information. I'm sure she'd welcome you joining in, if you so desire, Trish!
